Sydra is designed with privacy in mind. The app does not collect, store, or transmit personal data. Gameplay happens entirely on your device.
Your level progress, total stars, daily streak, streak freezes, unlocked milestone badges, audio and haptics settings, and onboarding state are stored locally on your device using Apple's standard UserDefaults API. This data is not transmitted externally. If you delete the app, this data is removed with it. You may reset all progress at any time from the in-app Settings screen.
Sydra includes an optional sharing feature. When you complete a puzzle and choose to share, the app generates an image of your solved constellation locally on your device and passes it to your device's system share sheet. You control where it is sent. Sydra does not receive, track, or store shared content.
Sydra offers a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase to unlock all levels beyond level 30. Daily Constellation puzzles remain free for all users.
All purchases are processed by Apple's StoreKit framework. Sydra never sees or stores your payment details, Apple ID, or billing information. Purchase verification and restoration are handled directly between your device and Apple's servers.
The Daily Constellation puzzle is generated locally using the current UTC date as a deterministic seed. No request is made to any server to obtain or verify the daily puzzle. Every player worldwide solves the same constellation each day because the seed is the date itself.
Sydra plays an ambient music track and procedurally generated tone effects during gameplay. All audio is rendered locally on your device using Apple's AVFoundation and is never transmitted. Haptic feedback uses Apple's Core Haptics framework. You can disable music, sound effects, and haptics independently from the Settings screen.
Sydra is built entirely with Apple's first-party frameworks. It does not include any third-party SDKs, analytics libraries, advertising networks, or crash reporters.
Sydra is suitable for all ages and rated 4+ on the App Store. The app does not collect personal data from any user, including children.
Because Sydra does not collect or transmit any personal data, there is no remote data to access, correct, or delete. All data lives on your device and is fully under your control. Deleting the app or using "Reset all progress" in Settings removes all stored game data.
If this policy changes, updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Material changes will also be reflected in the next app update.
